Heather Cole, Ph.D.

Heather is actively involved in promoting and supporting the digitization of all of AAFC’s collections and bio-resources, including developing and implementing standards for image and data capture, storage, and sharing. As the contact person for the Canadian Biodiversity Information Portal (CBIF), Heather also contributes to the on-going development of an information portal to communicate and share biodiversity data at domestic and international levels.
