I am part of the Berry Breeding team at Agassiz Research Centre. Berry Breeding program is the industry led initiative to improve the quality of blueberries, raspberries and strawberries grown in British Columbia. The Lower Mainland Horticulture Improvement Association (LMHIA)  focuses on breeding blueberry, raspberry and strawberry cultivars, and funding a variety of other applied field research programs important to commercial growers in BC.

I also play the role in maintaining AAFC berry germplasm at Agassiz RDC. I collaborate with AAFC small fruit breeder in Kentville Research Centre to develop new proposals involving berry breeding and genetics research.
