Francis Aucoin, M.Sc.
My role in the Geological Survey of Canada is to compile, validate, manage and analyze multi-source and multi-geoscience data for several researchers and geologists. Using geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, I manage databases and develop maps for many projects.
Current research and/or projects
Structuring a database and associated metadata for futur publications of potential aquifers in Canada.
Provide advice, technical information and contribute to the correction of geological information according to a new personalized classification.
Compile, validate, manage and analyze multisource and multidimensional geoscience data for many gold mines in Canada.
