Research in the fields of nanotechnology, materials and interfaces for a better understanding of food systems and for innovation and development in food processing and detection of risks.

Current research and/or projects

Dr. Deschênes is dedicated to biosensing in the field of food safety and to the understanding of the behaviour of bacteria and viruses at different interfaces. She is also interested in the interactions of nanoparticles with food systems.
