Biologist

My main work has to do with doing bioinformatics and flow cytometry within the Special Pathogens program.

Current research and/or projects

My main project is to develop bioinformatics tools and methods that can be used in field deployments (where access to facility computing resources is not possible).

Research and/or project statements

  • Developing bioinformatics tools to assist in field diagnostics when Special Pathogens scienctists are deployed to international outbreaks.
  • Developing immunology tools to study the pathogenesis and countermeasures against high-containment pathogens
