Dr. Eleanor J. Berryman

Research Scientist

I am a research scientist in the Environmental division CanmetMINING. I do impact assessments and carry out research related to mine and processing wastes.

Current research and/or projects

My expertise is in mineralogy, crystal chemistry, mineral physics, and the interaction of minerals and their host environments. I am versed in X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic techniques, including synchrotron based experiments. I have also done a lot of research on tourmaline before joining government.
