Professional activities / interests

Doug spent one field season mapping geology in Northern Ontario for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, three field seasons as an Exploration Geologist in the Western Cordillera , three years as a Toponomist for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, and eleven years working at Aerodat Airborne Geophysics as a Data Geophysicist specializing in the processing of airborne magnetic field, frequency domain electromagnetic, and radiometric data from around the world. Doug joined the GSC in 1998 and is a member of the Geophysical Data Centre and the Airborne Geophysics Section. Projects include compilations/re-compilations of geophysical survey data in Newfoundland, James Bay Lowlands and Nunavut.
