Use of managed versus natural wetlands by temperate breeding shorebirds
Productivity and survival of Marbled Godwits and Western Willets in Alberta
Effects of climate change on arctic and temperate breeding shorebirds
Connectivity of shorebird populations, changes in abundance, and factors affecting survival and productivity

Conference presentations at ornithology meetings and workshops (e.g., American Ornithologists Union, Society of Canadian Ornithologists) and collaborations with researchers worldwide

Participation in bird conservation committees, including the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada, Canadian and U.S. Shorebird Conservation Plans, Prairie Habitat Joint Venture ‘All’ Bird Working Group, Piping Plover and Eskimo Curlew Recovery Teams, Marbled Godwit, Long-billed Curlew and Red-necked Phalarope Working Groups, and the CWS/S&T Shorebird Technical Committee
